Be Alive Forever or Be Dead Forever
Psalms 37:1 ¶<<A Psalm of David.>> Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
Psalms 104:35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD. [Sounds like the wicked cease to exist.]
Isaiah 51:8 For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. [Die--the soul shall die.]
Ezekiel 18:27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. [Sounds like his soul will die otherwise.]
Ezekiel 33:9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. [Sounds like the wicked soul will die.]
Matthew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. [He will burn UP the chaff.]
Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. [Man can destroy only the body, but God can destroy body AND soul.]
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [If we don't believe we WILL perish.]
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. [Death, not burn forever.]
2 Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; [What is everlasting destruction? If you are destroyed forever, then doesn't that mean you are destroyed and will never be brought back?]
2 Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [They perish, not burn forever.]
2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: [We aren't born immortal; we become immortal by being Christians.]

2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; [What happened to Sodom and Gomorrha? Did they burn forever or were they consumed?]
2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. [Sodom and Gomorrha are not still burning. Something eternal sometimes just means it is of God, not that it is forever and ever.]
God is just. Being born when you didn't ask and living seventy years and being disobedient is not worthy of being tortured forever and ever. It may be worthy of death. If all we get is this life then we were blessed with this life. If we don't want to serve God so we can live FOREVER then that's our choice. God OFFERS us everlasting life. We can choose eternal life or we can choose eternal death.
